Fall 2008

 

Fishing during the Fall season might very well be the best fishing time of the year that the islands surrounding waters have to offer. Ultra-light tackle for Redfish and Trout offer backwater enthusiast a great opportunity for fast paced action and rod-bending moments. Cool crisp air temps, glassy, calm and serene water and a beautiful picturesque setting along the marshes and tidal creeks offer the perfect backdrop to the islands autumn fishing season. When combining the perfect fishing spot with the right tide at the right time of day, the chances of experiencing a memorable few hours are almost a given.  Here are my charter rates effective Oct. 1rst 2008  4hr trip- 1-2 anglers $390, 3-4 anglers $420. All of my trips are personalized and custom fitted to try and meet each group of anglers needs and wants. Get in touch and lets go fish'n. Better yet, take a kid fish'n!  

Ice is provided and there is plenty of cooler space for drinks and snacks as well as storage for clothing, cameras, etc.

The Mako fishes with live bait and uses quality, well-maintained Penn tackle. I endorse the practice of "catch and release", but will gladly keep and clean some fish for your dinner. When traveling to and from the fishing grounds you can enjoy the pristine surroundings while getting an up-close and intimate look at our most well known native inhabitant, the dolphin.

The beautiful scenery, wildlife, and most of all, great fishing are just part of the total enjoyable experience one has while spending the day aboard The Mighty Mako!

I put 100% of my energy into each and every charter. I enjoy taking fishermen/women of all skill levels. The only prerequisite is the desire to catch fish and have fun.

I especially enjoy introducing children to the joys of fishing. I instruct them on the fundamentals and shows them the proper angling techniques. I answers all questions with enthusiasm as well as describe the delicate ecosystem and it's marine inhabitants.

The pristine waters, lowcountry scenery, marine life, and most of all great fishing are all part of the enjoyable experience one has while aboard the Mighty Mako.
