July 29th

Its been a tough couple of weeks fishing. While keeping an eye on the horizon and checking the local radar every hour, we did manage to catch a few Spanish Mackerel, catch a few Jacks that came within casting range, and catch a number of species of Sharks. However, overall it was kinda tough. Rain and thunderstorms nearly every day as well as a constant breeze of 10-15mph had us resorting to plans B,C and D in order to stay dry, comfortable and keep the rods bent.  Oh well, when mother nature tosses lemons your way, you make some great tasting lemonade and go with the flow. This coming week looks to be more of the same. We do have a good moon phase as well as the tides that are lined up nicely for the coming week, so I am optimistic and will keep our fishing hopes alive.
