Its been an interesting swing of weather this year. Record colds that have plummeted water temps into the low 40’s followed by record warmth that has skyrocketed water temps well past what they normally should be. But with the back to back north-east storms, the water has cooled again back into the upper 50’s and will most likely delay the arrival of baitfish until later in the month. With the arrival of a food source comes a variety of Sharks and gamefish that will keep us entertained throughout the year. Its basically a waiting game until then. There have been some baitfish seen and netted, but the bite remains woefully slow to non-existent. Warm weather will be crucial to our success and we will be keeping you posted and my fingers crossed.
